I’m moving to the God realm

No more hungry ghost

Doing what I love to do

Not chasing after lust

 

I spent too many jealous days

Just gazing at the shelf

Worrying like a crazy man

Do I really have a self?

 

I’ve read too many obscure books

Not knowing what they meant

I envied all the experts

Who seemed so competent

 

No more hungry ghosts for me

I’m rolling ‘round the wheel

It’s time to try a different state

And do what I feel is real

 

No more animal realm – goodbye

I’m sick of being scared

It’s time to do the myriad things

I never quite dared

 

And also - no more time in hell

That place is full of hate

Farewell to all the people

Who think it’s really great!

 

Eventually I’ll make it back

To the human zoo

And use the power of reason

When deciding what to do
